Nov 10th
The Miami Dolphins hope that playing at home could carry them to victory against the visiting Tennessee Titans in the ongoing National Football League season on November 14.
The Dolphins are now in dire need of a victory to improve their 4-4 win-loss record and get a slot in the NFL playoffs and even play in the Super Bowl.
Getting their fifth win in the current NFL season will not a walk in the park since the Titans is a tough team with a 5-3 record.
Despite its home-arena advantage, the Dolphins are the underdog in the game against the Titans who is expected to beat them in-front of their fans.
To boost its chances against the Titans, the Dolphins management has promoted back-up quarterback Chad Pennington to become the team’s starting quarterback from former starter Chad Henne.
Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said their might be a surprise but he beleive it is the right direction to take at the moment to bring back the winning attitude of the team.
Sparano said Pennington and Henne are both great players, but he just thought that at this point, the 11-year NFL veteran is the right person to carry the load for the Dolphins in the 2010 NFL season.
He said Pennington will be the new starting quarterback of the team this year and he is confident he can deliver what Henne had failed to do.
Pennington is very happy with his promotion but said that to get back to the winning groove the team needs to play hard and avoid turnovers and it starts against the Titans.
Henne for his part is dissapointed with the decision of the Dolphins but nonetheless he fully respect it.
He also wish all the best to Pennington, who had been his mentor in the team in his new role for the Dolphins.
Pennington will have his hands full against the Titans who like them is also in desperate need of win to keep their winning momentum this year.
The Titans could avoid an upset if they can play tough defense and have a superb game against the home-team on Sunday.

Titans running back Chris Johnson also complemented COllins nice game with a great performance of his own as he got 111 yards rushing and scoring late in the game to help his team take their lead in their division alongside the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans.
Titans coach Jeff Fisher lauded the performance of his two stars in the game since it resulted to their victory against the home-team.
Playing in-front of its fans, the Jaguars does its best to battle the Titans toe to toe but disaster also struck on the Jaguars when its starting quarterback David Garrard also got injured in the game.
However, unlike Collins, Trent Edward, the newly acquired Jaguar failed to deliver in the absence of Garrard which lead to their loss.
Luck was also not on the side of Jaguars in the game as they suffered four mistakes in the game that caused their defeat.
With their loss the Jaguars dropped to 3-3 win-loss record and in danger of losing the chance to enter the NFL playoffs and fight for the Super Bowl crown this year.
Despite their predicament, Jaguars coach Jack del Rio is still confident of their chances in the 2010 NFL season saying all they have to do is to limit their mistakes and play much better in their next NFL games.
Fisher for his part is very happy with their victory and chances in the ongoing NFL season since it solidify their chances of entering the NFL playoffs and playing in the Super Bowl this year.

Jaguars coach Jack del Rio is confident they will win the game through a strong effort to be given by his reliable running back Maurice Jones-Drew.
Drew is enjoying tremendous success in the 2010 NFL season as he is tied for eighth in the league with 406 rushing yards, had 84 on 19 carries against Buffalo Bills.
Drew also ran the ball eight times for 177 yards and two touchdowns at Tennessee in November.
Although, the Jaguars is playing inspired in-front of its fans, the Titans can still pull a surprise against them if reliable quarterback Vince Young will once again have an A-game against the home-team.
As the fourth ranked team in terms of scoring at 26.4 points per game, the Titans through the leadership of Young can come up with a win if they will have a hot offence and stone-wall defense against the Jaguars.
Young needs to put the team on his back and carry them to victory against the equally determined Jaguars come Monday night.

After playing for 8 solid years in the Indianapolis Colts as a tackle end, Raheem Brock finally decided into ending it and signed-in a one-year contract with the Tennessee Titans. He considers it as a break he has been waiting for after being unhappy playing inside tackle in Indianapolis. This 32-year-old lineman was released from the Colts last March and has just spent months waiting for the phone to ring and somebody will offer him a contract for their team. Brock also considered playing with the Houston Texans, but later on decided to play with the Titans.
After studying the team’s defensive scheme, he is taking the advantage of the defensive scheme that exactly fits into what he does. Now that the Tennessee Titans are facing problems about some players having been injured, they are really in need for the service that Brock can give. The Titans definitely needs help.
Brocks’ had won a Super Bowl Ring when he was still with the Colts and had a 28.5 career sacks. By now, he is practicing in the field with the Titans wearing No. 96, the number worn by Morgan.
There are four preseason games, Chris Harrington and Brocks will go to have their chance to compete.
Now that the Titans are creating its contingency plans after having some players injured, can they be powerful enough just to cover the spread and the totals set on them? Will sports bettor still risk their precious bankroll on them? That thing is still needs to be proven.
