Nov 15th

With their victory the win-loss record of the Bills now stand at 1-8 while the Lions dropped to 2-7 in the current NFL season.
Bills superstar running back Fred Jackson was the top performer of the home-team as he ran a season-best 133 yards and scored twice in leading the Bills get past the Lions.
The Bills team employed tough defense and limited their turnovers to emerge victorious against the equally determined Lions team.

The home-team was very determined on its aim to get a win and extend the road woes of the Lions.
Bill star quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick also had a good performance in their game as he had 12 of 24 for 146 yards and a touchdown to help his team defeat the Lions.
Fitzpatrick was at his element as he orchestrated good plays for his team that lead to their victory against the Lions.
The Lions for its part were very sad with their loss since it is their 25th straight road loss since 2007.
The visiting team played their best in the game but the Bills proved to be a tougher team than them that lead to their loss.
Despite their loss, the Lions remain confident of their chances in the 2010 NFL season.
The Lions believe if they play hard and as a team they have strong chances of entering the NFL playoffs and even compete in the Super Bowl this year.
Bills hope they nail 1st win in game vs. Lions
Nov 12th
The Buffalo Bills hope they can finally get their first ever victory in the ongoing National Football League season when they face the Detroit Lions on November 14.
Playing in-front of its fans, the Bills have a huge chance of beating the Lions despite their woeful 0-8 win-loss record in the 2010 NFL season.
Although they have a lesser record compared to the Lions 2-6 slate, the Bills have a big chance of beating the visiting NFL team since the latter is struggling big-time while playing on the road.
Based on the latest statistics from the NFL, the Lions have loss 24 straight on the road from Sept. 9, 2001-Dec. 21, 2003, have lost three of their four road games this year by eight points or fewer.
The only wins of the Lions this year all came at their own turf.
NFL experts said if the Bills will play hard and execute their game-plan well they can upset the Lions and bring joy to their fans on Sunday.
To win over the Lions, the Bills also need to employ a stone-wall defense and avoid turnovers.
The Bills can also further boost their chances against the Lions if newly acquired linebacker Shawne Merriman can finally debut for the team on Sunday.
If his health permits and Merriman plays for the Bills it would be a huge factor for the home-team against their visitor.
The Lions for its part can avoid an upset if they can play as a team and limit the offence of the Bills.
Lions new starting quarterback Shaun Hill also needs to have an A-game if the team wish to defeat the Bills for the ninth time in this NFL season.
Hill earlier became the Lions starting quarterback after original starter Matthew Stafford suffered a shoulder injury in a 23-20 overtime loss to the New York Jets last Sunday.
Experts said Hill can have a dominating performance in the game, the Lions can defeat the Bills again, since their first meeting in 2006 where the Lions won 20-17.
It was learned that in six games in the 2010 NFL season, Hill has thrown for 1,309 yards, nine touchdowns and seven interceptions while completing 61.1 percent of his passes.
Lions seeks repeat win vs. Redskins
Oct 30th
The Detroit Lions seeks to repeat its win against the Washington Redskins last year when they host the same team this year in the ongoing National Football League season on October 31.
Leading the way for the Lions this year is sophomore quarterback Matthew Stafford who hopes to duplicate his golden performance against the Redskins on September 27,2009.
As a rookie quarterback last year, Stafford had a superb game against the Redskins as he lead the Lions to a 19-14 victory against the Redskins after he threw for 241 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions that day.
To win against the Redskins and improve their woeful 1-5 win-loss record, Stafford need to play hard against the visiting team.
Stafford also need to play wonderful music with Lions reliable wide receiver Calvin Johnson, who has 15 catches for 286 yards and three touchdowns over the last three games.
Professional football experts said if both Stafford and Johnson have a great game against the Lions, there is a big opportunity that they could pull a surprise and win their match-up.
Having a superior 4-3 record, the Redskins is favored to roll past the Lions in their game.
However to win against the Lion and avoid upset, Redskins veteran cornerback DeAngelo Hall and nose tackle Albert Haynesworth should perform well against the Lions.
Hall should play an A-game to disrupt the the plays of the Lions, do some interceptions and lead his team to victory against the Lions.
On the other-hand, Haynesworth must do his best to limit the performance of Stafford and not allow him to create great plays for his team.
The Redskins is poised to win the game but an upset could also happen if the visitor will not be careful and play complacent against the Lions.

With a reliable and performing line-up that will include National Football League superstar quarterback Brett Favre if he returns for the nth time, the Minnesota Vikings is expected to take the NFC North crown and even the 2010 NFL Super Bowl.
Despite being the odds on favorite, other teams in the NFC North like the Green Bay Packers, the Jay Cutler led Chicago Bears and the rising Detroit Lions can still pull an upset and beat the Vikings in the 2010 NFL Season.
To retain the NFC North crown the Vikings need to always play their A-game against its rivals in the division to avoid an upset.
We here at NFL Week 1 think,
The Lions will finish fourth, but still feel better about themselves.
The Bears will be disappointed with anything less than third place.
The Packers will tie the Vikings, but the Vikings win the division on the tie-breaker.
