ACHING ARMS: Not a hindrance for QB Romo
Aug 4th
Just like the other players’ complain, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Tony Romo, is also experiencing aches particularly in his arms. As a quarterback, his duties as a member of the offensive team are on passing or throwing the ball to another offensive player. Basically, arms are the most utilized body parts for the QBs. Romo, as the Cowboys’ QB, is reported to have been suffering from aching arms.
In an interview, he shared his throwing and passing experiences and assures everybody that it is a part of every season, and it is a thing that he’s probably sure all quarterback undergoes.
As a very optimistic and dedicated QB, he stressed out in his past interviews that he is not likely to back out before or during the 2010 NFL season. He just gave an assurance that if it sores much, he will not oblige his self to play. Furthermore, during the team’s warm up sessions, he will lessen the throws and passes and executes it without defenders just to further stretch out his arms. After the play, cold compress on his arms and a quality rest will do.
He makes an assurance to everyone that an aching arms will definitely don’t mean a hindrance for him. Everybody will still expect him to play and perform even better this upcoming NFL season.
The Dallas Cowboys will be playing on a Sunday night in the Hall of Fame at canton, Ohio against the Cincinnati Bengals on their preseason opener. With that game, Romo’s follower, as well as the whole Cowboys, including all the bettors can have a chance to handicap the team’s performance and will now be able to decide whether or not to put on their bet and trust if they can cover the spread and totals set to them by different sportsbook.
NFC East Preview and Predictions
Aug 2nd
Washington Redskins:
After the massive failure of 2009 seasons in NFL championship the team is totally in a scattered situation.
There is no actual hope for the upcoming seasons in 2010 with respect to the analysis based on performance. There is a huge dispute with the new style of defensive scheme by the HC Mike Shanahan 4-3 and Haynesworth does not agree to play with this scheme. That is why he is now against with the team and probably will be cut ties with the Redskins.
The only impressive area is the including of QB Donavan McNabb and the new head coach. McNabb led Philadelphia in the last season and eventually it is an advantage for the Redskins on the 3rd October Crucial match.
The team is now completely formed with the youth member and it look like feeling it can compete. But in real there is not just too much hope for the upcoming season.
Dallas Cowboys:
Dallas cowboys have showed smashing success in NFC east. They are a team look like real confident and played like a total team effort. In the coming season the Cowboys are adding some skilled players and it makes the team stronger.
Bryant is the trump card for the team. If he can prove his talent again it would be a simple equation for them to win the championship. The combined effort of Bryant, WR Miles Austin, WR Roy Williams, and TE Jason Witten could be the best offense in the championship.
Their only loss is Adams which cannot be recovered as he was an heir apparent in that position. So, overall we can easily expect they could again hold the NFC east title.
Philadelphia Eagles:
The Eagles had a really good regular season just missed out the title of NFC east very narrowly.
The McNabb tenure is ended with it is now under possession of QB Kolb. Huge expectation is arising based on his performance and fans are expecting a smashing success. Kolb already showed his talents in the absence of McNabb. HC Andy Reid is in under pressure as he selected Kolb and Kolb could make or break end of his coaching career in NFL.
The game after the day of Christmas against Minnesota is really crucial for them otherwise it will create do or die situation with the Cowboys. It is expected the will try their best to get back the playoffs.
New York Giants:
In absence of the teams three stars receiving threats, they have played good enough and BIG blues deserved to be praised. But they had all sorts of problem in their defense in the last season. The team suffered injury problems in the last season.
The real admiration goes to QB Eli Manning because he was one of the top signal callers in NFL and is in really good form. With leading by Pap Flaherty their offensive line is quite strong and they have some real talent to show their skills in the upcoming seasons.
With the addition of Pierre-Paul in the defense could make the big difference. If the defense can strike, surely there are some good positive results for the NY Giants. If all goes well this could be a dangerous squad for holding the title in the upcoming season.
IS COWBOYS’ TEAMWORK AT STAKE?
Jul 26th
Traditionally, new football players are asked to do something to serve the team. Carrying the water, other players’ pads etc. Most of the time, this is followed by the rookies. However, Dallas Cowboys’ rookie Dez Bryant, a former Oklahoma State star, opts not to follow the tradition. In the Cowboys’ morning Sunday session, wideout Roy Williams handed his pads over to Bryant but the latter opt not to carry it. Veteran players traditionally hand their pads to a rookie after a practice.
The thing that happened in that morning session caught football followers attention on Bryant’s attitude. They asked the rookie on his stand about what happened and he diligently answered the queries. He said he’s in the training camp to catch passes and not to carry somebody else’s pads after practice. Moreover, he said that he feels like he was drafted to play football, not carry another player’s pads. He stated that if he was a free agent, it will still be the same thing.
Williams was also interviewed regarding what happened. He shared his rookie experience with the Detroit Lions and did carry the pads and paid for the meals. He also stressed that no matter if one is the No. 1 pick or the 7,000th pick, one should still have to do something when still a rookie. However, Williams was confident that he was not insulted at all; instead he stated that “Controversy is what everybody loves, try to pin him against me, me against him, and it’s not going to work.”
Can the rookie’s attitude affect their team play and personal relationship? Can it also be possible to affect the performance of the Dallas Cowboys on their game with the Cincinnati Bengals on the 8th of August and will not be enough to cover the spread and totals set by the sportsbook? Can the sports bettor still trust the wideout’s performance when the rookie is also inside the field? Let us all find out after the match.

Due to the absence of the Buffalo Bills DE, Aaron Schobel, in the team’s off-season training camp in Rochester and his constant contemplating regarding retirement, Buddy Nix, Bills’ Manager, formally announced that the DE has formally been released and now a free agent.
Rumours regarding Schobel’s possible transfer to another team after 9 solid years of playing for the Bills were diligently justified by the manager. Nix said that if he chose to retire after the release, then it will make him a Buffalo Bills by heart; but if he chooses to continue his career to another team, then they’ll respect it and will think that it is a fair thing to let him have the opportunity to play somewhere else that he wants.
There are three possible teams that they think will be preferred by Schobel should he wish to play to another team, those are Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans and Houston Texans. The most probable is the Texans because the DE was reported that he has sold his Buffalo-home and transferred to Texas with his family. Moreover, Schobel has always been a fan of the Texans.
Schobel, supposedly has still 4 more years to fully serve his contract in Buffalo Bills which he has signed in 2007 as an extension contract with $50.5 million. This season will be the first for the Buffalo Bills after the nine years of Schobel’s playing history. The team has devised a tactic and system to make the season and bets favour to them.
