Oct 2nd
The Chicago Bears face the tough task to keep their winning streak alive when they visit New Meadowlands Stadium on October 3 to face the dangerous New York Giants.
The start of the 2010 NFL season had been great for the Chicago Bears as they sport an impressive 3-0 record.
Lead by rising NFL quarterback Jay Cutler the Bears have successfully hurdled their first three games of the current NFL season to post an immaculate record.
Cutler is having a great NFL season this year as he threw for 870 yards – fifth-most in the NFL with six touchdowns and two interceptions under first-year offensive coordinator Mike Martz.
Having an immaculate record, the Bears is slightly favored to win against the Giants lead by coach Tom Coughlin.
The Bears are having success this year due to their impressive offence and defence wherein newly acquired defensive end Julius Peppers is having a great performance for his new team.
In contrast to the Bears, the Giants is having nightmare this year as they sport a 1-2 record due to the many errors they commit during their games.
Aside from having a superior win-loss record, the Bears are also picked to win their game against the Giants since in the match-up history of the two respected NFL teams the Giants also lost their last five regular-season home meetings against the Bears since a 28-24 victory in 1969.
Facing the odds as the underdog, the Giants lead by coach Tom Coughlin could still pull an upset if they could limit their mistakes and employ tough defense against the Bears.
Giants star quarterback Eli Manning also needs to have an A-game to bring victory to his team against the Bears.

With a reliable and performing line-up that will include National Football League superstar quarterback Brett Favre if he returns for the nth time, the Minnesota Vikings is expected to take the NFC North crown and even the 2010 NFL Super Bowl.
Despite being the odds on favorite, other teams in the NFC North like the Green Bay Packers, the Jay Cutler led Chicago Bears and the rising Detroit Lions can still pull an upset and beat the Vikings in the 2010 NFL Season.
To retain the NFC North crown the Vikings need to always play their A-game against its rivals in the division to avoid an upset.
We here at NFL Week 1 think,
The Lions will finish fourth, but still feel better about themselves.
The Bears will be disappointed with anything less than third place.
The Packers will tie the Vikings, but the Vikings win the division on the tie-breaker.
