Jets face Bengals on Thursday evening
Nov 23rd
THE NEW YORK Jets aspire to keep their three-game winning run when they host the visiting Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday evening in the current National Football League season.
Having a superior 8-2 record compared to the 2-8 record of the Bengals, the Jets is expected to roll past the visitor in their game.
Playing in-front of its own fans, the Jets are the overwhelming favorite to topple the struggling Bengals in their game.
Jets superstar quarterback Mark Sanchez is the top man of the home-team in their game against the Bengals.
If Sanchez can continue his superb performance, the Jets are poised to get its ninth win in the 2010 NFL season.
This year, Sanchez is having a great NFL season for his team.
In the winning streak of the Jets Sanchez is played a vital role as he threw for 950 yards and six TDs and the offense totaled more than 400 yards in each.
The current NFL season is a great year for the Jets due to their superb offence and defense.
The Jets had been a force to reckon in defense in the 2010 NFL season by only allowing 40 points in the fourth quarter of the last four games and has forced a total of three turnovers.
The Jets forced 14 in their first seven games.
Sporting a huge record and playing in-front of its fans, makes Jets head coach confident of winning their game against the dangerous Bengals.
Ryan believes if his troops will continue to follow their game-plan there is no reason they could not beat the Bengals.
In their head to head matches, the Jets also won eight of their past nine games.
Although they are the underdog in the game, the Bengals can still defeat the Jets if they can stop Sanchez from orchestrating good plays for his team.
The Bengals also need to play their A-game and find a way to score against the vaunted defense of the Jets if they wish to win their match-up.
Childress fired as coach of Vikings
Nov 22nd
After five seasons as coach of the Minnesota Vikings, Brad Childress has been recently fired by his team in the current National Football League season.
The Vikings made the tough decision to fire Childress due to the humiliating 3-7 win-loss record of the team in the 2010 NFL season.
In dismissing Childress, the Vikings also took notice of the wrong and ill-advised decisions made by the veteran NFL coach that lead to the team’s lackluster performance this year.
The NFL franchise hopes their move to fire Childress would fire up their players to play even harder for the team this year.
The NFL franchise also noted that despite the presence of NFL superstar quarterback Brett Favre, Childress failed to deliver the Vikings to a great year this 2010 NFL season.
Before losing his head coaching job, Childress went 40-37 with the Vikings, including 1-2 in the playoffs.
He was all in with Favre, riding his incredible 2009 season to the NFC championship game and then going down this year under the weight of his struggles to regain that rhythm.
Now that Childress is out as head coach of the Vikings, the Vikings management has designated defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier as the new head coach of team in the remainder of the current NFL season.
Frazier is very happy with his new role and vowed to do his best to bring back success to the Vikings.
Moreover, the Vikings hope their decision to fire Childress would bring positive outcome to the team.
Dolphins suffers 4th home-loss in 2010 NFL season
Nov 20th
The woes of the Miami Dolphins when playing at home is not about to end in the current National Football League season.
For the fourth time this year, the Dolphins lose their game at their own football arena after they fell to the visiting Chicago Bears to a humiliating 16-0 shutout.
The loss dropped the Dolphins record to 5-5 win-loss record while improving the Bears record to 7-3 in the ongoing NFL season.
The defeat reduces the chance of the Dolphins to enter the NFL playoffs while solidifying the opportunity for an NFL playoff spot of the Bears.
Bears dependable defensive end Julius Peppers was the man of the hour for the winning visiting NFL team by allowing only 187 yards and a single third-down conversion in the game.
Peppers also had three sacks to carry the team to its first shutout victory since Nov. 19, 2006, against the Jets.
Bears star running back Matt Forte, also had a great game for his team in their victory by carrying 25 times for 97 yards and a score for the Bears, who converted 10 of 18 third-down situations and controlled the ball for nearly 38
minutes.
The Bears imposed a stone-wall defense in the game to topple the injury riddled Dolphins team in-front of its own fans.
The continued misfortune of the Dolphins while playing at home had been greatly attributed to the various injuries suffered by the key players of the team including the team’s top two quarterbacks Chad Pennington and Chad Henne.
Tasked to replace the injured quarterbacks, third-string quarterback of the Bears Tyler Thigpen failed to deliver in the game as he experienced six sacks in his first NFL start since 2008, which lead to their loss.
Thigpen is the 15th quarterback to start for the Dolphins since Dan Marino.
Dolphins coach Tony Sparano is sad with their loss but he remains confident his team can still bounce back and have a banner 2010 NFL season.
Sparano said if his team can improve its play this year they more chances of getting more wins and become successful this year.
Vick’s heroics helping Eagles to a banner year
Nov 16th
Philadelphia Eagles superstar quarterback Michael Vick is the main catalyst of his team’s unexpected success in the ongoing National Football League season.

Last Monday night, Vick again had a dominant game as he carried the Eagles to a morale boosting 59-28 victory over the home-team Washington Redskins.

Vick was also 101 focused in the game as he was able to complete his first 10 passes and finished 20 for 28 for 333 yards.
The superstar quarterback also ran eight times for 80 yards and two scores, moving past Steve Young and into second place in NFL history for yards rushing by a quarterback.
Inspired by the huge performance of Vick, the rest of the team also played their hearts out as they were able to set team records for total yards in a game (592), points in a half (45) and had the biggest lead after the first quarter for any NFL road team (28-0) since at least 1950.
The inspiring win place the Eagles into a first-place tie with the New York Giants in the division, with both teams’ two games ahead of the Redskins.
The defeated Redskins were disappointed since the loss makes their quest for an NFL playoff spot even harder this year.
Redskins superstar quarterback Donovan McNabb was overplayed by Vick as the former only finished 17 for 31 for 295 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions; nearly all of the yards coming after the Redskins had dug themselves a five-touchdown hole.
McNabb and his team were however remain confident of their chances in the NFL this year despite their home-loss.
The Redskins believe they can still attain success if they continue to play hard as a team and stay focus at all times.

NFL experts said if the Bills will play hard and execute their game-plan well they can upset the Lions and bring joy to their fans on Sunday.
To win over the Lions, the Bills also need to employ a stone-wall defense and avoid turnovers.
The Bills can also further boost their chances against the Lions if newly acquired linebacker Shawne Merriman can finally debut for the team on Sunday.
If his health permits and Merriman plays for the Bills it would be a huge factor for the home-team against their visitor.
The Lions for its part can avoid an upset if they can play as a team and limit the offence of the Bills.
Lions new starting quarterback Shaun Hill also needs to have an A-game if the team wish to defeat the Bills for the ninth time in this NFL season.
Hill earlier became the Lions starting quarterback after original starter Matthew Stafford suffered a shoulder injury in a 23-20 overtime loss to the New York Jets last Sunday.
Experts said Hill can have a dominating performance in the game, the Lions can defeat the Bills again, since their first meeting in 2006 where the Lions won 20-17.

To boost its chances against the Titans, the Dolphins management has promoted back-up quarterback Chad Pennington to become the team’s starting quarterback from former starter Chad Henne.
Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said their might be a surprise but he beleive it is the right direction to take at the moment to bring back the winning attitude of the team.
Sparano said Pennington and Henne are both great players, but he just thought that at this point, the 11-year NFL veteran is the right person to carry the load for the Dolphins in the 2010 NFL season.
He said Pennington will be the new starting quarterback of the team this year and he is confident he can deliver what Henne had failed to do.
Pennington is very happy with his promotion but said that to get back to the winning groove the team needs to play hard and avoid turnovers and it starts against the Titans.
Henne for his part is dissapointed with the decision of the Dolphins but nonetheless he fully respect it.
He also wish all the best to Pennington, who had been his mentor in the team in his new role for the Dolphins.

Holding a huge advantage against the Cowboys due to its superior 5-3 record compared to the woeful 1-6 record of the latter, the Packers need to have an A-game from Rodgers to sustain their three-game winning streak.
The defending NFl champion does not need to let its guard down since doing so could spell doom for them against the very determined Cowboys team.

Having a superior 4-3 record, the Redskins is favored to roll past the Lions in their game.
However to win against the Lion and avoid upset, Redskins veteran cornerback DeAngelo Hall and nose tackle Albert Haynesworth should perform well against the Lions.
Hall should play an A-game to disrupt the the plays of the Lions, do some interceptions and lead his team to victory against the Lions.
On the other-hand, Haynesworth must do his best to limit the performance of Stafford and not allow him to create great plays for his team.
The Redskins is poised to win the game but an upset could also happen if the visitor will not be careful and play complacent against the Lions.
